I am John D. Hernandez, Founder of VerdeVista Partners.

VerdeVista is not private equity. We did not fly down from New York City in fancy loafers and G-Wagons to try and buy the local businesses of Chester County through the use of mass debt, and fancy terms.

I grew up learning how to work from a father that never needed an electrician, carpenter, landscaper, heavy machine operator, nor plumber.

Growing up, he was that, and much more not only to our family but to countless clients who have not called anyone else for over 30 years.

He taught me what it truly means to serve customers the right way.

He taught me:

“You can have anything you want in this world, Son, as long as you work for it.

I lived by it — working weekends and summers alongside him, paying my way through school and college.

Along the way, I was drawn to sales, selling everything from used furniture to high-ticket racehorses. I ran power washing crews, closing jobs on site, launching startups, and sharpening my craft in finance. While never forgetting the values and hard skills my father taught me.
